President, Seung-Hyun Kim, The Korean Neurological Association

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Korean Neurological Association (KNA), I am pleased to welcome you to our official website. As Korea’s leading organization in neurology, the KNA is dedicated to advancing the understanding, treatment, and prevention of neurological disorders through cutting-edge research, education, and clinical practice.

Founded in 1982, the KNA has spent over 40 years enhancing neurological care and supporting the professional growth of our members. Our association comprises more than 2,600 members—including neurologists, clinicians, and researchers—and is supported by eight subspecialty societies and 16 affiliated societies. Throughout our history, we have remained committed to improving the diagnosis and treatment of neurological diseases for the benefit of patients and the medical community.

Each year, we host two major domestic conferences, in spring and autumn, providing valuable opportunities for professional development, knowledge exchange, and networking. Internationally, the KNA has successfully organized major events, including the 9th and 16th Asian Oceanian Congress of Neurology (AOCN) in 1996 and 2018, respectively. We are also proud to host the 27th World Congress of Neurology (WCN 2025) from October 12–15, 2025, at COEX, Seoul, in collaboration with the World Federation of Neurology (WFN). This prestigious event will bring together experts from around the world to discuss the latest advancements in neurological science and practice.

At the KNA, we believe in the power of education and knowledge-sharing. Through our conferences, symposiums, and publications, we strive to uphold the highest standards in neurological care and research. Our members remain at the forefront of medical advancements, working collaboratively to address challenges in neurology and improve patient care.

We invite you to explore our website to learn more about our activities, upcoming events, and resources. Whether you are a healthcare professional, researcher, or patient, we hope you find valuable information to support your interests and goals.

Thank you for visiting the Korean Neurological Association. Together, we can continue to make meaningful strides in understanding and treating neurological diseases.

Best regards,
Dr. Seung-Hyun Kim
